It is your responsibility to review the Terms and Conditions on a regular basis.

2. Education and Entertainment Only

4. Changes to the Site

6. Prizes
Any prizes will be awarded according to the rules posted in the “How to Win” section on the YouDontKnowAuctions.com’s web site. Any federal, state and local taxes and fees applicable in connection with any Prize awarded are the sole responsibility of the user. Prizes are subject to verification and users will be notified of such verification requests by electronic mail and may be required to sign and return affidavits of eligibility and liability releases within 14 days of said notification or Prize may be forfeited. User, by acceptance of a Prize, represents and warrants compliance with all rules and regulations contained herein.

7. Indemnity
You shall hold YouDontKnowAuctions.com, Chicago-Kent College of Law, the Chicago Department of Consumer Services, their employees, officers, directors, licensees, distributors, wholesalers, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion or other agencies, media partners, agents and retailers harmless and shall fully indemnify same from any and all costs, expenses, liabilities, and damages whatsoever that may arise as a result of:
    a) your entry, use, or reuse of the web site;
    b) your use of any materials at the web site;
    c) your entry, use or reuse of the YouDontKnowAuctions.com server;
    d) your participation in any contest or tournament; or
    e) your acceptance of any prize.

8. Links
The YouDontKnowAuctions.com web site contains links to other World Wide Web Internet sites and resources. These links to other third party sites and resources do not constitute an endorsement by YouDontKnowAuctions.com, Chicago-Kent College of Law, or the Chicago Department of Consumer Services of any third party sites, resources or content. You agree not to use any information from YouDontKnowAuctions.com’s Web Site, including the links, in any illegal manner.

9. Limitation of Liability
Under no circumstances shall YouDontKnowAuctions.com, Chicago-Kent College of Law, or the Chicago Department of Consumer Services be liable for hardware and/or software malfunctions, bugs in any form, nor attempts by users to participate in contests by methods, means or ways not intended by YouDontKnowAuctions.com. In no event, including but not limited to gross negligence and/or willful misconduct, is YouDontKnowAuctions.com, Chicago-Kent College of Law, or the Chicago Department of Consumer Services liable for more than direct damages. Further, YouDontKnowAuctions.com is not required to maintain your user name or password if you misplace, forget, lose or are otherwise unable to enter the YouDontKnowAuctions.com web site because of anything other than YouDontKnowAuctions.com’s error.

10. Choice of Law and Venue
These Terms and Conditions are entered into in the State of Illinois and shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, exclusive of its choice of law rules. Each party to these Terms and Conditions submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts sitting in the County of Cook in the State of Illinois, and waives any jurisdictional, venue, or inconvenient forum objections to such courts. In any action to enforce these Terms and Conditions, the prevailing party will be entitled to costs and attorney fees. In the event that any of the Terms and Conditions is held by a court or other tribunal of competent jurisdiction to be unenforceable, those provisions shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms and Conditions shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.

11. Entire Agreement
These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between YouDontKnowAuctions.com and you pertaining to the subject matter of this Agreement and supersedes any and all other prior written or oral agreements between you and YouDontKnowAuctions.com. No amendment, waiver, or modification of this Agreement shall be valid unless in writing and duly executed by the parties. This Agreement shall be binding upon and inure to the benefit of the parties and their respective heirs, legal representatives, administrators, successors, and assigns.

Privacy Policy
    1. Information on this site is collected on a "need to know" basis. We are not collecting information to track you, send you spam, or anything else creepy like that.
    2. Information is collected from you in three places:
        a. We collect a name that you use to play the game. This will only be used by the game to identify you, direct personal insults towards you, etc. We are not storing this information on a server in a dark warehouse somewhere and keeping a list of every website that you visit.
        b. If you are skillful enough to be a high scorer in the auction quiz, we will ask you for your name. The only way we will use that name is to post it in our list of high scorers. Once again, no creepy stuff.
        c. If you are the current high scorer for the monthly period, we will ask you for an email address as well as your name. Your email address will be used only to contact you if you are still the high scorer at the end of the monthly period. We will only be contacting you to find out how to get your T-shirt to you. We will then throw away your email address. No creepy stuff.
    3. Do not send us your personal information. We don't really want it anyway.
